Reminders!!! :D (?!)

Hi people :D;

      Now that it’s a new schoolyear, let’s start things right and get to work on our requirements! (WHAT?! ALREADY?!) YES!!! WE MUST!!! I WARN YOU NOW, IF YOU TRY CRAMMING THIS QUARTER, YOU WILL SUFFER :P (*Whooo…). So to help you in your RESPONSIBLE ENDEAVORS (haha, nice joke! or was it?! :o) here’s a list of things you ought to know, things you might want to know, and things-that-you-definitely-don’t-want-to-know-but-I’m-telling-you-anyway… HAPPY STUDYING! (wait, is that even possible? Well, I’m quite sure it is, so…) So, just to shake things up, I made this post a bit humorous to help you ENJOY studying…. (I wonder who said this…. ;D)

ART - We must…. build… a… bridge… (WHAT?! Yeah, yeah enough whining, this is only the 1st thing on the list, at this rate you might have a cardiac [ar]R[e]S[t] before this list is over…. CHILLAX [a la Sir Leo; sosyal]). Specifics: the bridge must be in the arch or truss style of construction (*note: it has to also be a suspension bridge), it’s load-bearing capacities will be tested by having an RC car move over the bridge (*note: the bridge MUST span the… creek… Just imagine the fresh air… Breath in deep…. AHHH– *faints*)

We also need to submit the Acrylic Painting (to frame or not to frame, that is NOT a question, may bonus kapag may frame) on the 3rd week of January (oh, that’s till far off… NO IT ISN’T, GET TO WORK)

*Read Learning to Look by J. Taylor pp. 12, 13, 26, 27, 28, 29, 58-59, 83-86 (that seems ok… if I actually do it…)

BIO- Well, for now, just get started on your advocacies (YOU’LL THANK ME LAAAAAAATER… :P)

ENG - And now, from the home of our FAVORITE SUBJECT (boy, we have a lot of those) IIIIIIIIIIT’S ENGLISH!!! yay. Annywaayyy…. all we have to do here is Finish our LT on Things Fall Apart and give a draft of our research (if not done already). Oh, better start reading Cry, the Beloved Country [or you might just Cry for your Beloved Bedtime when you have to cram a day before (but that won't happen.... RIGHT?)]

MUSIC- Well, this one’s a bit difficult… first LEARN HOW TO PLAY THE GUITAR, then COMPOSE A SIMPLE SONG (utilizing chords)….. ’nuff said.

PHYS- Read the article on chimes by Haworth (or was it Hayworth? Hamond?…. just see IC’s post below) and get to work… Ahhh… chimes…. lots of experience THERE….

TSK- Finish Chimes [as if you didn't know that already ;)] AND SOMETHING EXTRA… 1st, get a copy of the handouts (THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT), then, list down as many technical terms (a.k.a. VOCAB) from the handout (as well as their layman’s definitions, this may not be required); then on Monday, the class will have a contest by group (paramihan ‘to, kaya magbasa; hehehe…) SURPRISE!

Bio Matters for Group 3 (Proposal)

GROUP 3!!!

I hope alam na alam (meaning, you and I should not only know it, but understand it in mind and in heart!) natin ang topic  for our campaign, right? Tinext ko kayo, so you should probably have received the text about that topic. 

And I expect from you groupmates (pati rin sa akin mismo!) that we have read and understand (again, sa isip at puso) yung mechanics ng YMSAT project na ito.  If any of us haven’t yet read it, it was already sent in our emails already (in short, it’s in the files of bioyahoogroups).

Na email ko na kay Sir Guce yung proposal (layout for our advocacy campaign), and I’m still waiting for his approval and suggestions.

I’ll send the proposal to your emails by new year plus some suggestions from Sir as soon as he approves it.  Please read them as soon as you receive it.

After you read it, you have the right to ask me or suggest something that would benefit for our campaign…so reading it by mind and heart is really, really significant.

Hindi niyo sana malilimutan na ngayon ay araw ng ating pambansang bayani na si Dr. Jose Rizal.

Bilang pagbibigay halaga sa kanyang araw, sana isaisip at isapuso natin ang kanyang mga prinsipyong ipinakita sa kanyang mga trabahong panpanitikan, tulad ng Noli at Fili…

     Ito na yung “stuff” (stuff?; what stuff?) para sa Fil clearbook (a.k.a. yung “Pagsususuri sa El Fili“) :O. Yeah. I know. :O…

     Kaya…. mga groupmates ko at ni Ro-anne (a.k.a. Lara, Mark, Jayson, Chari, at Paul) heto na yung mga “tips” at takdang-aralin (assignments(?)) n’yo:

I. Talasalitaan: ako (Nino) na ang bahala dito, pero paki-usap lang, paki-send (ulit) yung inyong mga salita (para sigurado, lalung-lalo na ang Kab. 31, dahil walang bigay si **** sa akin!). Salamat! :D

II. Mahahalagang Pangyayari/ Mahahalagang Kaisipan: ako na rin ang bahala dito, dahil nasa akin na yung mga “buod” (lilinisin ko na lang tapos i-piprint ko na lang sa photo paper…. o kahit anong papel na magandang tignan)…. PERO: kung gusto nila Kab. 33 at 34 na itaas ang kanilang mga marka (o kung trip lang nila), pwede silang magpasa ng “buod” ng kanilang kabanata bago o sa araw ng Enero 1, 2009, pagkatapos nito,  ay hindi tatanggapin ang kahit anong “buod” na ipapasa.

III. Pagsusuri sa mga Tauhan/ Pagpapahalagang Pangkatauhan: Ito na (at ang pang-4 na bahagi) ay ang tunay na basehan sa inyong mga marka. Dito, kailangan n’yong gumawa ng “buod” ng bawat tauhan (na MAHALAGA SA KUWENTO) (hal: Kab. 31 – Mataas na Kawani, Basilio, Kapitan-heneral, atbp.); kailangan na nakalagay sa inyong “buod” A. kailan mo siyang unang nakita (sa kabanata na iyan), B. ang papel niya sa kwento (optional ito, pero may bonus ang gagawa), C. ang kanyang katangian (pisikal at mental)(kung nakasabi), D. at ang kanyang ugali. Ang takda dito ay parehas sa mga nakatakdang kabanata (pero kung nalimutan n’yo na ay ito na: 31 – Paul, 32 – Jayson at Ro-anne, 33 – Mark, 34 – Lara, 35 – Chari at Nino) (sa 32 at 35, mag-text na lang kayo sa isa’t isa para maayos n’yo ang gagawin n’yo). Ito ay kailangan na sa Enero 3, 2009 (lahat ng ipapasa pagkatapos ng araw na ito ay hindi na tatnggapin). *Kapag may tauhan na umulit (hal: si Isagani (Kab. 32 at 35)) ay gagawa na lang ang nakatakda sa 32 (tapos ang nakatakda sa 35 ay magdadagdag na lang ng A. sa ginawa ng nakatakda sa 32).

IV. Pag-uugnay sa Kasalukuyang Panahon: Dito, kinakailangan na kumuha kayo ng artikulo sa dyaryo o kaya sa magasin o  internet na may kaugnayan sa mga isyu na nailathala sa El Fili (hal: Kab. 31 – ang mga dahilan kung bakit naiwan si Basilio sa kulungan). Kailangang may dahilan sa pagpipili at may explanasyon ng artikulo. Parehas ng kanina yung pagtatakda maliban kay Nino at Ro-anne, si Ro-anne ay kasama sa Kab. 31 at si Nino ay kasama sa Kab. 33 (kagaya ng kanina, mag-text   na lang kayo para maayos ninyo ang gagawin n’yo). Lahat ay kailangang ipasa bago ng o sa araw ng Enero 5, 2009; lahat ng magpapasa pagkatapos nito ay hindi matatala.

V. Pagsasanay:  ako na lang ang gagawa, PERO:  kung gusto niyong magkaroon ng bonus ay gumawa kayo ng 3 tanong sa kabanatang itinakda sa inyo. Kailangan ito sa Enero 2, 2009; hindi tatanggapin ang ipapasa pagkatapos ng araw na ‘to. Salamat! :D
